Govt Middle School Kutta faces staff shortage, 70 students left to suffer; Shakoor Ahmed Seeks immediate administrative intervention

GANDOH, Oct 27: Shakoor Ahmed has raised serious concerns over the poor condition and shortage of staff at Govt Middle School Kutta, located in Zone Bhatyas, where around 70 students are reportedly struggling due to inadequate facilities and a lack of teaching staff.

According to the information provided, the school currently has only one teacher to cater to approximately 70 students, raising serious concerns about the quality of education and the academic future of the children. The situation has become more challenging due to the absence of a playground, a proper bathroom facility, and an Aaya worker to assist with the needs of younger students.

Shakoor Ahmed also pointed out that one teacher reportedly draws a salary against Govt Middle School Kutta but performs duties at another school. He has urged the concerned education authorities to look into the matter and ensure that the teacher is assigned duties at the school where the staff shortage is affecting students.

He further expressed concern over the dilapidated condition of the school building, stating that the infrastructure requires urgent attention to provide students with a safe and suitable learning environment.

The shortage of teachers and basic facilities is creating difficulties for students and placing an additional burden on the available staff. The absence of essential amenities also raises concerns about the overall educational environment and the well-being of the children.

Shakoor Ahmed has appealed to the District Administration and the concerned Education Department authorities to take immediate action by deploying adequate teaching staff, examining the reported staff deployment issue, providing basic facilities, and repairing the school building.

He stressed that children in remote areas deserve the same educational opportunities and facilities as students elsewhere. The authorities must address these concerns on priority to ensure that the future of the 70 students studying at Middle School Kutta is not compromised due to administrative and infrastructural shortcomings.
