Dr. Sanjay Bansal nominated to two key committees of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GoI

JAMMU / NEW DELHI, Aug 1: In a significant recognition of his contributions to the trade and business community, Dr. Sanjay Bansal, National President of the Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) and Board Member of the National Traders Welfare Board (NTWB), has been nominated as a Member of two prestigious committees constituted by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

Dr. Bansal has been inducted into the Finance, Credit and MSME Support Committee and the Market Infrastructure and Urban Trade Development Committee. These committees have been constituted to provide valuable recommendations and policy inputs for strengthening India’s trade ecosystem, promoting MSMEs, improving access to finance, modernizing market infrastructure, and facilitating the sustainable development of urban trade across the country.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Sanjay Bansal thanked the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the National Traders Welfare Board for reposing confidence in him. He stated that it is a matter of great honour and responsibility to contribute towards policy formulation that directly impacts millions of traders, entrepreneurs, and MSMEs across India.

Dr. Bansal further said that these committees will play a vital role in making meaningful contributions towards India’s national trade policy by addressing the evolving needs of the business community, strengthening financial support mechanisms for MSMEs, improving market infrastructure, and promoting ease of doing business in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The FTII fraternity, industry leaders, and members of the business community have congratulated Dr. Sanjay Bansal on this significant achievement and expressed confidence that his extensive experience and commitment towards trade and industry will greatly benefit the committees and contribute to India’s continued economic growth.
