DODA, Oct 26: Samrat Singh, son of Advocate Rajeev Singh and a resident of Bundoda village in Doda district, has brought pride to the district by winning a bronze medal in Taekwondo in the under-38 kg weight category at the 70th National School Games 2026.
The prestigious competition was held at Government College of Physical Education, Gadoora, Ganderbal. Samrat’s achievement at the national-level event reflects his dedication, hard work and sporting talent.
His success is a proud moment for his family and the people of Doda. It is also expected to inspire other young athletes from the district to pursue sports and strive for excellence at state and national levels.
