JAMMU, June 19: Rajiv Mahajan, President of Shri Ram Sena (J&K UT), has expressed deep concern over reports alleging irregularities in the utilization and management of donations received at Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhya.
In a statement issued today, Mahajan said that crores of devotees from across India and abroad have contributed generously to the temple with immense faith and devotion. Any allegation regarding misuse, mismanagement, or financial irregularities involving these donations is a matter of serious concern and deserves a fair, impartial, and transparent investigation.
He stated that devotees have every right to know how their contributions are being utilized and that complete accountability must be maintained in the management of temple funds. He urged the concerned authorities to conduct a thorough inquiry into all allegations and make the findings public to maintain the trust of millions of devotees.
Mahajan further said that faith and transparency must go hand in hand, and any individual found guilty of wrongdoing should be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law, irrespective of position or influence.
He appealed to the public to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information until the facts are established through official investigations and competent authorities.
