JAMMU, Nov 8: Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath and Jagannath Charitable Trust, Shalimar Chowk, Jammu, paid heartfelt tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, remembering his supreme sacrifice in the struggle for reservation rights and social justice in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Trust members recalled the martyr’s selfless contribution towards the fight for societal rights, dignity and equal opportunities. They observed that his sacrifice continues to inspire generations to stand for justice, equality and the welfare of society.
The Trust reiterated that Bhagat Amarnath’s martyrdom remains a symbol of courage, commitment and the struggle for social justice. On the occasion of Diwali, the members renewed their pledge to preserve his ideals and keep his memory alive.
They emphasised that his message of social unity, equality and justice remains relevant and should continue to guide future generations.
The programme concluded with the slogan, “Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath Ji Amar Rahein!”
