JAMMU, Oct 20: Business Network International (BNI), a global business referral organisation, achieved a significant milestone with the launch of BNI Pinnacle, its seventh chapter in Jammu and Kashmir, at Taj Vivanta, Jammu, on Tuesday.
The launch witnessed the participation of 43 founding members, marking BNI Jammu and Kashmir’s largest chapter launch since 2022. The strong participation reflected growing interest among entrepreneurs in structured business networking, professional collaboration and referral-based business growth in the region.
BNI provides a platform for business owners and professionals to build relationships, exchange referrals and expand their business opportunities. The organisation has established a global network connecting entrepreneurs across industries and markets.
According to the organisation, BNI has been recognised by Forbes, which ranked it among the top three in its list of six essential local small-business associations to join. The recognition highlights the organisation’s role in supporting small and medium-sized businesses through relationship-driven networking.
Speaking at the launch, CA Raghav Gupta, Founder and Head of BNI Jammu and Kashmir, described BNI Pinnacle as an important development for the region’s business community.
“BNI Pinnacle is the largest launch since 2022 for Jammu and Kashmir’s business ecosystem,” Gupta said.
He added that BNI Jammu and Kashmir has grown into a community of more than 275 referral partners and has generated business worth over Rs 564 crore since its inception in 2018.
Gupta said the organisation provides local entrepreneurs with access to a structured global referral network backed by more than 3.75 lakh members across 76 countries. This network, he noted, creates opportunities for businesses to develop professional relationships, strengthen credibility and explore new markets.
Dimpi Gupta, Executive Director of BNI Jammu and Kashmir, said the launch of BNI Pinnacle marked a new chapter of collaboration and confidence for entrepreneurs in the Union Territory.
She stated that BNI now has seven chapters in the region, including one in Kashmir, and aims to expand its network significantly in the coming years.
“Our vision is to contribute one per cent to the GDP of Jammu and Kashmir by adding 2,500 referral partners and generating Rs 2,500 crore in business on a year-on-year basis by 2030,” she said.
She added that the organisation seeks to empower businesses of all sizes by providing opportunities to learn, connect and grow through professional networking practices aligned with global standards.
Kunal Gupta, Support Ambassador for BNI Pinnacle, highlighted Jammu’s entrepreneurial potential and said the new chapter would help connect local businesses with wider markets.
“Jammu has incredible entrepreneurial potential. BNI Pinnacle will act as the bridge between entrepreneurs of Jammu and Kashmir and the world through visibility, credibility and powerful business relationships,” he said.
The launch of BNI Pinnacle is expected to further strengthen the organisation’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir by bringing together business owners from different sectors on a common platform. The chapter aims to encourage referrals, foster collaboration and create new avenues for business development.
The development marks another step in the expansion of organised business networking in the region, with BNI Jammu and Kashmir looking to build a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to economic growth through partnerships and business opportunities.
