BJP OBC Morcha organises party joining programme, pays tribute to late Sant Ram

JAMMU, May 31: BJP OBC Morcha organised a party joining programme at Arya Samaj Mandir, Janipur, Jammu, on Sunday, witnessing the induction of several citizens into the Bharatiya Janata Party and reaffirming the party’s commitment to public welfare, social empowerment and inclusive development.

The programme was attended by BJP Jammu & Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha Member Sat Sharma (CA) as the chief guest. MLA Jammu North Sham Lal Sharma and BJP OBC Morcha J&K-UT President Braham Jyot Satti were the guests of honour. The event was organised by Manohar Babbar, State Executive Member, BJP OBC Morcha.

Among those present were Ayodhya Gupta, Prabhari Jammu North; Nand Kishore, District President Jammu North; Sunny Sangotra, State General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha; Shamsher Prajapati, District President OBC Morcha Jammu North; former corporator Sunita Gupta; Sahil Gupta, Mandal President Janipur; Ashwani Babbar; Jatinder Kumar Luthra of Swarnkar Sangh Jammu West and several senior party leaders and workers.

During the programme, the dignitaries paid rich tributes to Late Sant Ram B.A., remembering his significant contribution towards social reform, community upliftment and the welfare of marginalized sections of society. Speakers highlighted his lifelong dedication to social service and urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from his ideals and commitment to public welfare.

A large number of citizens formally joined the BJP during the event, expressing their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party’s vision of nation-building and inclusive development.

Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma welcomed the new entrants into the BJP family and highlighted various welfare initiatives and developmental programmes launched by the Narendra Modi-led government. He said the BJP remains committed to serving every section of society and strengthening its organizational network across Jammu and Kashmir.

He stated that the party’s focus on good governance, transparency and inclusive growth has helped improve the lives of millions across the country. He urged the newly inducted members to actively participate in party activities and take the message of development and public service to every household.

Sham Lal Sharma congratulated the new members and said the growing number of people joining the BJP reflects increasing public confidence in the party’s policies and leadership. He emphasized that BJP’s strength lies in its dedicated cadre and service-oriented approach, which has helped establish it as a trusted political force in the country.

Braham Jyot Satti welcomed the new members and reiterated the commitment of BJP OBC Morcha towards the social, educational and economic upliftment of backward communities. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, OBCs and other weaker sections have received greater opportunities, empowerment and representation.

Manohar Babbar expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, party workers and citizens for their participation and support. He said the enthusiastic response to the programme reflected the growing acceptance and popularity of the BJP among different sections of society.

The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level and work collectively for the welfare and development of society.
