JAMMU, Aug 11: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir, held an important organisational meeting at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to review and finalise preparations for the upcoming Tiranga Rallies and various social programmes to be organised by the Morcha across the Union Territory.
The meeting focused on ensuring active participation of the OBC Morcha at the district level and making the Tiranga Rallies successful through coordinated organisational efforts. The leaders discussed the responsibilities of district units, mobilisation of workers and the need for active participation of party workers and members of the public in programmes dedicated to the national flag and the spirit of patriotism.
Rashpal Verma, BJP State Vice president and Prabhati BJP OBC Morcha ; Brahamjyot Satti, President BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir ; Sunny Sangotra and Sham Mehra, State General Secretaries OBC Morcha; Manohar Babbar, State Executive Member OBC Morcha; Ashok Verma, District President Jammu South OBC Morcha; Charanjeet Saini, District President Jammu Border OBC Morcha; Sagar Verma, District President Udhampur OBC Morcha; Rajinder Mengi, District President Reasi OBC Morcha; and Harvinder Singh, District President Samba OBC Morcha were present on the occasion.
Addressing the meeting, Braham Jyot Satti, State President BJP OBC Morcha, said that the Tricolour is not merely a national flag but a powerful symbol of the country’s unity, integrity, peace and the spirit of sacrifice. He said the Tiranga inspires every citizen to rise above differences and work collectively for the progress, peace and prosperity of the nation.
Braham Jyot Satti said that The Tiranga represents the pride, unity and integrity of our great nation. It reminds us of the immense sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and brave soldiers who dedicated their lives to protecting the sovereignty and honour of the country. The Tiranga Rallies are an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the people, particularly the younger generation, and to reaffirm our commitment towards national unity and harmony.
He further said that the BJP OBC Morcha would ensure that the Tiranga Rallies are organised successfully at the district level with enthusiastic participation from its workers. He called upon all district units to work with dedication and ensure that the message of unity, peace, patriotism and national responsibility reaches every section of society.
He also emphasised that the upcoming social programmes of the OBC Morcha would focus on strengthening the organisation’s connect with the people and taking forward the spirit of seva, social responsibility and inclusive development.
Earlier, Rashpal Verma reviewed the organisational preparations and stressed upon the district leadership to ensure proper coordination and effective implementation of the programmes. He called upon the workers to actively participate in the Tiranga Rallies and other upcoming social initiatives.
The meeting also discussed the responsibilities of district-level teams and the need for coordinated efforts to ensure maximum participation and successful execution of the programmes.
