BJP Legal Cell felicitates JKCA President Desh Rattan Dubey

JAMMU, Aug 24: Adv. Amit Manhas, BJP Legal Cell, along with his team, felicitated the newly inducted President of the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Desh Rattan Dubey, and his official team.

During the interaction, detailed discussions were held on various measures aimed at strengthening cricket and promoting the sporting spirit across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting also focused on creating greater opportunities for the talented youth of J&K to represent the UT at various levels, including national platforms.

JKCA President Desh Rattan Dubey shared his vision for taking cricket in Jammu & Kashmir to new heights. He informed that a roadmap is being worked upon for introducing a Jammu & Kashmir Cricket League on the lines of the IPL. The idea is presently in the pipeline, and sincere efforts are being made to give it a concrete shape.

Such a league, once implemented, could provide a significant platform to emerging and raw talent from Jammu & Kashmir, boost the popularity of cricket, and give local players greater exposure and opportunities.

The JKCA President further emphasised that there is no dearth of cricketing talent in Jammu & Kashmir; what is required is greater opportunity and the right platform so that the full potential of our young players can be utilised.

The BJP Legal Cell team expressed its best wishes to the JKCA leadership and hoped that the new team will work with dedication and vision to provide the youth of Jammu & Kashmir with greater opportunities in cricket and help take the sport to new heights.
