JAMMU, Jun 9: Chairman, National Sikh Front (NSF), S. Varinderjeet Singh today said that the reported support extended by a large number of Trinamool Congress Members of Parliament to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), coupled with the resignation of senior party leaders, reflects a growing national faith in development-oriented governance and a broader shift in the country’s political discourse.
In a statement issued here today, Varinderjeet Singh observed that political winds across the country are increasingly favouring stability, accountability, good governance and nation-first politics. He said that when elected representatives voluntarily rise above party lines to support a larger national vision, it reflects the strength and credibility of that vision.
The NSF Chairman stated that the NDA Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the political narrative by shifting the focus from rhetoric to results, from promises to performance and from vote-bank politics to development-centric governance. He said that initiatives relating to infrastructure development, digital empowerment, economic reforms, women empowerment, social welfare and national security have generated confidence among citizens as well as public representatives across the country.
“Political loyalties may shift, but public expectations never do. Leaders who understand the aspirations of the people naturally gravitate towards platforms that deliver tangible results and inspire confidence in the future,” he remarked.
Varinderjeet Singh said that the developments unfolding in West Bengal should not be viewed merely through the prism of political arithmetic. Rather, they represent a larger message emerging from across the country that development has become the new common language of Indian democracy and performance the new benchmark of political credibility.
“When leaders from diverse political backgrounds begin converging around a common vision of development and national progress, it signals not merely a political shift but the emergence of a new national consensus,” he asserted.
Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, the NSF Chairman said that the visible improvements in infrastructure, tourism, connectivity and public service delivery have further strengthened public confidence in development-focused governance. He maintained that India today is witnessing a transformational shift in public expectations where governance, transparency and delivery are increasingly shaping political outcomes.
Expressing hope that such developments would contribute towards stronger governance and greater political stability, Varinderjeet Singh reiterated that all initiatives promoting national unity, inclusive development, social harmony and economic progress deserve support from every citizen committed to India’s bright future.
