RAMBAN, Jul 9: The Indian Army conducted a Khairiyat Patrol in the remote areas of Khari Tehsil, Ramban, to provide medical assistance and basic healthcare support to local residents. During the patrol, Army personnel interacted with villagers, especially elderly residents, and provided health check-ups, essential medicines and basic treatment. The initiative aimed to reach people living in far-flung areas where access to regular medical facilities remains limited due to difficult terrain and distance from main healthcare centres.
The local population expressed gratitude for the Indian Army’s timely support and compassionate outreach. Such initiatives not only address immediate medical needs but also strengthen the bond of trust between the Indian Army and the local communities. The Khairiyat Patrol reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to the welfare, safety and well-being of people living in remote and border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
