RAMBAN, Aug 28: The Indian Army organised a “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” awareness programme at Neel Top with the aim of promoting Girl Child, Women’s education and Gender equality in Society.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, Students and community members. The event focused on creating awareness about the importance of educating Girls, ensuring equal opportunities and empowering them to become confident and self-reliant members of society.
During the programme, the Indian Army highlighted that the education is a powerful tool for empowerment and social transformation. Participants were encouraged to support the education and development of Girls and to contribute towards creating a safe, equal and progressive environment for the Girl Child.
The initiative reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to strengthening its bond with the local population and contributing to community development through meaningful outreach and awareness activities.
The programme concluded with a pledge by participants to promote the education, dignity and empowerment of Girls and to spread the message of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.
