JAMMU, Jun 26: The Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra Managing Committee, Dachhan Kishtwar, along with its Jammu Sub-Committee, on Friday announced the schedule for the Annual Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Mata Trishul Yatra during a press conference held in Jammu. The organisers appealed to devotees from across the country to participate in the annual pilgrimage while urging the administration to ensure adequate infrastructure and facilities for the smooth conduct of the yatra.

Addressing the media, Jagdish Raj Thakur, President of the Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra Managing Sub Committee, Jammu, said that the annual pilgrimage will commence on July 15, 2026, from Dharalan Nagri in Kathua and conclude on July 21 at Shri Hudh Mata Bhawan situated in Village Nanth Nallah of Tehsil Dachhan in Kishtwar district.

He informed that the Trishul Yatra will travel through several religious destinations, including Hudh Mata Mandir Beli Charana (Jammu), Gouri Shankar Mandir at Sarkoot, Radha Krishna Mandir at Sounder, Virat Mata Mandir at Dilgooth, Gowkooth, Kaikooth Ram Mandir and finally Shri Hudh Mata Darbar. After performing the traditional Hawan at the shrine on July 21, pilgrims will proceed to the sacred Trisandhiya Nadi, Doodh Ganga and Braham Sarovar for holy baths and darshan.

Highlighting the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage, Thakur said that Trisandhiya Nadi is regarded as a rare and sacred phenomenon where water is believed to flow intermittently three times a day despite the absence of any visible source such as a lake, pond or spring. Devotees will also have the opportunity to visit the revered Brahma Peak during the pilgrimage.

The committee informed that free langar and accommodation facilities have been arranged at all designated night halting stations. Pilgrims have been advised to carry woollen clothes, umbrellas, sports shoes and essential medicines, as they will have to undertake a 15 to 20-kilometre trek through hilly terrain.

The organisers further announced that devotees in Jammu will welcome the Trishul Yatra at Ranbireshwar Mandir Chowk on July 15 at 2 pm. A grand Shobha Yatra will then pass through Indra Chowk, Raghunath Bazaar, City Chowk, Purani Mandi and Raj Tilak Road before concluding near Gita Bhawan. The yatra will halt at Hudh Mata Mandir, Beli Charana, before proceeding towards Kishtwar the following morning.

The committee also placed several demands before the administration, including immediate repair of the damaged bridal path from Suid to Bhawan, restoration of bridges and wooden crossings, repair of the Dangdhoru–Suid motorable road, provision of satellite mobile phone facilities in the shrine area, adequate security arrangements, deployment of medical teams throughout the route and extensive publicity of the shrine and pilgrimage by the Tourism Department through print, electronic media and hoardings across Jammu and Kashmir.

The organisers expressed confidence that with administrative support and public participation, the annual Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Mata Trishul Yatra would be conducted peacefully and successfully while preserving the rich spiritual heritage of the region.
