Adv Devraj reviews preparations for PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’

JAMMU, May 30: Senior BJP leader Adv. Devraj Sharma on Saturday chaired a meeting of party leaders and office-bearers at Miran Sahib to review and finalize preparations for the forthcoming broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular monthly radio programme, “Mann Ki Baat,” scheduled to be aired on Sunday, May 31, across the RS Pura and Suchetgarh constituencies.

During the meeting, Sharma urged party workers to ensure the widespread conduct of listening programmes at the booth level throughout both constituencies. He emphasized that “Mann Ki Baat” has evolved into one of the most effective platforms through which Prime Minister Modi establishes a direct emotional and intellectual connect with citizens across the nation.

Highlighting the significance of the programme, Sharma said that through “Mann Ki Baat,” the Prime Minister consistently brings attention to issues that inspire social transformation and collective action, including environmental conservation, innovation, youth engagement, women empowerment, healthcare awareness, cultural heritage, and citizen-driven development initiatives.

He observed that the programme has become a powerful medium for motivating individuals and communities to actively contribute towards nation-building. According to Sharma, the Prime Minister’s messages encourage people to embrace positive change and participate in developmental efforts that strengthen the social fabric of the country.

Sharma further remarked that “Mann Ki Baat” has emerged as a unique national platform that recognizes the inspiring contributions of ordinary citizens and showcases local success stories before a nationwide audience. He noted that several public movements, including cleanliness campaigns, promotion of indigenous products, water conservation initiatives, fitness awareness drives, and environmental protection efforts, gained remarkable momentum after being highlighted in the programme.

Calling for maximum public participation, Sharma urged party leaders and workers to reach out to people from every section of society and ensure that the Prime Minister’s message of collective responsibility, social harmony, and inclusive growth reaches every household across the Union Territory.

Stressing the importance of seamless coordination and effective booth-level management, Sharma said BJP workers across Jammu and Kashmir are enthusiastically preparing for the upcoming broadcast. He expressed confidence that the programme would witness extensive public outreach and meaningful citizen engagement, further strengthening the connection between the government and the people while inspiring greater participation in the nation’s developmental journey.
