JAMMU, Jun 29: As in previous years, the Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Prachar Seva Samiti is organizing a Bhandara (community kitchen) for Baba Amarnath pilgrims at the Jammu Railway Station. This marks the 10th grand Bhandara to be hosted by the volunteers of the Samiti at the station.
A special meeting was organized today by the Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Prachar Seva Samiti regarding the Bhandara (community kitchen) for the AmarnathYatra. The meeting was presided over by Sunil Sharma, the National Convener of the Samiti. Phool Krishna Shastri, a Bhagwat Kathakar and member of the Samiti’s advisory board, also participated in the meeting. On this occasion, Shastri announced that the Samiti is organizing its 10th grand bhandara at the Jammu railway station.At this bhandara (community feast), volunteers will make every possible effort to ensure maximum convenience for the pilgrims. On this occasion, Phool Krishna Shastri stated that a dedicated bhandara committee has been formed, which will operate under the leadership of the organization’s National Coordinator, Sunil Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Sharma, National Convener of the Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Prachar Seva Samiti, stated that—with the grace of the Guru and the blessings of the Divine—they would make every possible effort to provide pilgrims with seasonal, nutritious, energizing, easily digestible, and pure food. Special care would be taken to ensure that pilgrims receive food suitable for fasting vrat-prasad on Ekadashi and other days of religious observance.
