JAMMU, Jun 11: Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu celebrated the remarkable achievement of Ridhan Singh Katal of Class VII-D, who played a pivotal role in his team’s victorious campaign in the Inter Zonal District Level U/14 Boys Cricket Tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Jammu.
The tournament was held at Khel Gaon, Nagrota from 30 May to 4 June 2026 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams representing Bishnah, Jourian, Akhnoor, Miran Sahib, Jammu, Gandhi Nagar, Bhalwal and Satwari.
The competition commenced with the opening fixtures on 30 May 2026, followed by the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on 1, 2 and 3 June, culminating in the final match on 4 June 2026.
Demonstrating exceptional talent, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, Ridhan contributed significantly to his team’s success and emerged as one of the standout performers of the championship.
His commendable efforts helped his team secure the coveted District Cricket Title, earning the winner’s trophy and medal and a proud moment for the entire DPS Jammu fraternity.
