RS PURA, Jun 1: The Foundation Day of Samriddh Samaj Seva Sangathan was celebrated with enthusiasm and a spirit of public service at Old Railway Line Patri, Keshav Nagar-II, Kotli Shah Doula, R.S. Pura, Jammu. Marking the occasion, the founder members of the Sangathan organized a plantation drive and planted saplings in the area, reiterating their commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable community development.
The event witnessed the participation of office-bearers, local residents and social activists who appreciated the organisation’s continued efforts in addressing social issues and promoting public welfare. The plantation drive symbolized the Sangathan’s vision of creating a greener, cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Amit Augustaya and President Sanjeev Sharma said that Samriddh Samaj Seva Sangathan has been working tirelessly for the welfare of society since its inception. They emphasized that the organisation is completely non-political and is dedicated solely to serving the people by addressing genuine public concerns and working in coordination with the administration for the betterment of local communities.
The leaders highlighted that besides undertaking social service activities, the Sangathan actively promotes sports among youth to channel their energy in a positive direction and encourage discipline, teamwork and healthy lifestyles. They noted that sports play a crucial role in keeping young people away from social evils and helping them emerge as responsible citizens.
They further stated that regular plantation campaigns undertaken by the organisation contribute significantly to environmental protection by increasing green cover, improving air quality and spreading awareness about ecological responsibility. Such initiatives, they said, are particularly important in the face of growing environmental challenges and climate concerns.
The Foundation Day celebration also served as an opportunity to review the organisation’s achievements and reaffirm its resolve to continue working for social upliftment.
