JAMMU, Aug 30: On the auspicious occasion of the Baba Birpa Nath Ji Bhandara held at Kangar (Bhalwal), members of the Jammu State Movement (JSM) participated in the religious gathering and interacted with devotees and members of the organising committee.
The Bhandara was organised by Arjun Singh Palwal, President of Rashtriya Karni Sena, Jammu & Kashmir, who took the initiative to bring devotees together for the religious and community service programme. The event witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees who gathered to seek the blessings of Baba Birpa Nath Ji and participate in the Bhandara.
The occasion reflected the spirit of faith, service, brotherhood and social harmony. During the programme, the JSM team was honoured by the devotees present at the Bhandara. The team members expressed their gratitude to the devotees, Arjun Singh Palwal and the organising committee for the warm welcome. They also appreciated the efforts of all volunteers and sevadars who contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
The JSM representatives said that religious and social gatherings such as these play an important role in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and bringing people together. They emphasised the importance of maintaining peace, mutual respect and social harmony while working for the welfare and development of the Jammu region.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for interaction with local people and devotees on various issues concerning Jammu. Detailed discussions were held on the ongoing activities of the Jammu State Movement regarding the demand for a separate Jammu, along with public outreach programmes and the proposed future course of action.
The JSM team stated that the organisation intends to continue raising issues concerning the people of Jammu through peaceful, democratic and constitutional means. The representatives emphasised that matters relating to the region’s social, economic, administrative and political interests require wider public dialogue and participation.
During the interaction, people shared their views on various issues affecting Jammu, including development, employment, regional representation and the aspirations of the people. The JSM team welcomed the exchange of views and stated that direct interaction with the public is important for understanding people’s concerns and strengthening democratic dialogue.
The representatives further said that the demand for a separate Jammu should be discussed through peaceful and democratic means, with the participation of different sections of society. They stated that the movement would continue its public outreach activities and engage with people across different areas to create greater awareness about issues concerning the Jammu region.
The JSM team also conveyed its appreciation to Arjun Singh Palwal, President of Rashtriya Karni Sena, Jammu & Kashmir, and the entire organising team for arranging the Bhandara and creating an opportunity for people to come together in an atmosphere of faith, service and social harmony.
