JAMMU, Aug 29: Retired Officers Forum Jammu successfully organized a comprehensive Heart Check up camp on Saturday under the Chairmanship of S.C. Rekhi.
The initiative aimed at addressing the health concerns of the Senior Citizens in general and Forum members in particular. The whole programme was conducted by the Forum in association with Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Delhi.
The camp offered free services of ECG, Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure. The camp witnessed a turnover of more than 70 Senior Citizens.
Expert consultations were given by Dr. Swati Mahajan DM Consultant Cardiology a prominent lady of the soil from Fortis Escorts Heart Institute who provided expert Medical advice and Treatment based on the tests conducted by the Institute.
Besides above free services ,the Institution provided 30% subsidy for ECO to the participants who attended the Heart Check up Camp.
