JAMMU, Aug 29: Paras Health, Panchkula, has launched a Specialist Outreach OPD at Triveni Nursing Home, Gandhi Nagar, bringing multi-disciplinary super-speciality consultations closer to patients in Jammu and adjoining areas.
The initiative aims to improve access to specialised healthcare and reduce the need for patients to travel to Chandigarh, Delhi and other metropolitan cities for specialist consultations and second opinions.
The outreach OPD will provide consultations in Neurosurgery, Robotic Surgical Oncology, Robotic, Bariatric and Minimal Access Surgery, Cardiology, and Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery. Patients will receive personalised medical advice, diagnostic guidance and treatment planning, with referrals to Paras Health, Panchkula, for advanced diagnostics, robotic procedures, oncology treatment and other specialised care whenever required.
The visiting panel of specialists includes Dr Rajeev Goel, Director, Neurosurgery & Intervention; Dr S.S. Trehan, Associate Director, Robotic Surgical Oncology; Dr Amit Bansal, Associate Director, Robotic, Bariatric & Minimal Access Surgery; Dr Karan Dang, Consultant, Cardiology; and Dr Aditya Gupta, Consultant, Orthopaedics & Spine Surgery.
Speaking on the launch, Dr Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director, Paras Health, Panchkula, said the objective was to make specialised healthcare more accessible to patients in Jammu and nearby areas.

The initiative is expected to strengthen specialist healthcare access in Jammu by bringing expert consultations directly into the community and facilitating timely referrals for advanced treatment.
