VIJAYPUR, Aug 15: 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated at Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
On the occasion, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, Principal PTTI Vijaypur presided over the function and hoisted the National Flag in presence of prominent citizens, Retd police personnel, staff and trainees of the Institute.
During function, the contingents of trainees and local school children held March-Past. Principal in his address highlighted the importance of Independence Day and remembered the freedom fighters who scarified their lives for the freedom of the Country and Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives for protecting and safeguarding the sovereignty of the Nation.
He congratulated all staff and trainees on this auspicious occasion and urged upon them to work with honesty and dedication and contribute positively to our nation’s growth. The event ended with the serving of light refreshment to all the participants/ witnesses of the parade/function.
