GUNDNA, Aug 10: The ABRSM Unit Gundna organised a warm and dignified farewell function today in honour of Principal HSS Shiva, who had also served as Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Gundna, on additional charge, and Shikha Singh, Senior Assistant, on their recent transitions in service.
The function was attended by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda, B.K. Pathak, ZEO Gundna, Rehman Kumar, and Principal HSS Boys Doda, Rishi Kumar along with number of teachers from Zone Gundna.
Principal HSS Shiva was recently relieved from the additional charge of ZEO Gundna following the joining of the new ZEO, while Ms. Shikha Singh was promoted as senior assistant and subsequently adjusted at HSS Boys Doda.
The programme was organised by Papu Sharma under the presidentship of ABRSM Zone Gundna, Sunil Kumar. During the function, various speakers expressed their appreciation for the valuable services rendered by the outgoing officials and highlighted their dedication, sincerity and professional approach towards their responsibilities.
Prominent ABRSM members, including Mohan Singh and Koshal Kumar spoke on the occasion. They particularly praised the working style, administrative acumen, dedication and cordial approach of the former ZEO Gundna and appreciated his contribution towards the educational administration of the Zone.
The speakers also congratulated Shikha Singh on her promotion and wished her a successful tenure at HSS Boys Doda. They expressed the hope that both officers would continue to contribute towards the betterment of the education sector in their respective assignments.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries including Chief Education Officer Doda, principal HSS Shiva and others appreciated the initiative of ABRSM Zone Gundna in organising the farewell and creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and fraternity among the teaching fraternity.
Chief Education officer while speaking on the occasion stressed to develop work culture in the schools and said teachers are the main pillars of nation. He also assured to solve the service matters of teachers and all possible assistance will be assured to teachers working in the district.
The programme concluded with the presentation of warm wishes and tokens of appreciation to the outgoing officials. The gathering also conveyed its best wishes for their future assignments and expressed gratitude for their services to the educational community.
The event reflected the strong spirit of professional camaraderie, respect and unity among the teaching fraternity of Zone Gundna.
