KISHTWAR, Jul 30: Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, the Labour Department Kishtwar, under the leadership of ALC Kishtwar, Mamta Sudershan, on Thursday handed over compensation to Mohinder Singh, son of Karam Chand, resident of Phagwar, Sarthal, who was working as a labourer with Jaypee Associates at the Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Power Project, Kishtwar. He sustained injuries while on duty, resulting in 46% permanent disability.
An amount of Rs 8,34,872 was deposited by Jaypee Associates into the account of the ALC Kishtwar and was handed over to the injured worker today by ALC Kishtwar, Mamta Sudershan.
The ALC Kishtwar reiterated the Labour Department’s commitment to providing timely assistance and welfare support to workers affected by workplace accidents.
