JAMMU, July 23: Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Jammu & Kashmir UT President Rajiv Mahajan has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel in Anantnag, in which Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi attained martyrdom while performing his duty.
In a statement issued here today, Mahajan said that such barbaric acts of terrorism are an attack not only on the security forces but also on the peace, unity, and integrity of the nation. He paid rich tributes to the martyred police personnel and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Mahajan said the supreme sacrifice of the brave policeman will never be forgotten and that the entire nation stands firmly with the family of the martyr. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the grieving family to bear this irreparable loss.
The SRS President urged the Government and security agencies to take the strictest possible action against the terrorists and their supporters, ensuring that those responsible for this heinous crime are brought to justice without delay. He expressed full confidence in the security forces and said that terrorism can never weaken the resolve of the people of India.
Mahajan reiterated that Shri Ram Sena stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces, police, and all security agencies in their relentless fight against terrorism and appealed to the people to remain united against forces attempting to disturb peace and harmony in Jammu & Kashmir.
