Woman from Jammu died of Covid-19, death toll in JK 38

JAMMU, Jun 6 (Agencies):  A 62 year old woman from Jammu died of Covid-19 on Saturday, taking the death toll in JK to 38.

Dr. Kirti Bhushan, deputy medical superintendent GMC Jammu, told news gathering agency that the elderly woman from Miran Sahib Jammu was admitted on 24 May and tested positive subsequently. She died today. “She was suffering from heart and orthopedic problems.”

Earlier, a man from south Kashmir’s Shopian district  died of COVID-19 at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar.
