What Administration? Junior doctor terminated for demanding standard PPE Kit in J&K

SRINAGAR, Apr 22 (Agencies): The SKIMS Medical College Bemina has reportedly terminated the services of a junior resident doctor after as per his statement that he genuinely demanded standard personal protection equipment.
In a letter to President Doctors Association of Kashmir, he said that despite the non-availability of standard PPE, he continued to discharge his duty in the COVID ward by playing on his life along with other COVID-19 Warriors.
In a statement issued by Jammu and Kashmir Doctors Coordination Committee an amalgam of various doctors bodies of the Union Territory has expressed serious concern over unwarranted termination of the doctor adding that it is a black spot on the administrative affairs of the medical college during such pandemic which has crushed and collapsed the world.
Pertinent to mention here that agencies had already published the issues pretaining to PPE Kits but administration’s silence over the issue speaks the failure on the part of head of the institution & other concerneds & shall be responsible for any losses to Covid-19 Warriors.
