Team Mask Force hails Excise Commissioner’s remarks

JAMMU, May 6: Team Mask Force Chairman Vijay Sharma welcomed the statement of Excise Commissioner Rajesh Shavan wherein he said that social distancing norms cannot be adhered if liquor vends are allowed to open in JKUT in near future in view of preventive measures being taken to combat COVID-19 in the country.
Sharma appealed to the Administration to exercise extra caution and restraint while acting on the issues which violate COVID-19 restrictions.
He also appreciated Excise Commissioner’s remarks that loss of revenue is not more than the lives of peoples of UT.
He appealed to the district administration to adhere to relaxation Zone Wise and set an example in the UT in particularly Jammuites have setup in the past.
Citing examples of awareness programme launched by Team Mask Force of the country, he further described it as social and moral responsibility to wear masks & maintain social distancing during lockdown period.
