SRMWC to take out Shiv Barat on Feb 20

JAMMU, Feb 8: Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) along with Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust is organizing Shiv Barat (Shobha Yatra ) on February 20, 2020 on the eve of Maha Shivratri festival which falls on February 21.
While talking to media persons, Mahant of Ranbireshwar Temple Shri Rishi Ban said that on February 20, a grand Shobha Yatra of Lord Shiva (Shiv Barat) will be jointly organized by Jammu and Kashmir Dharamath Trust and SRMWC.
He said that this Shobha Yatra will start from Shri Ranbireshwar Temple at 3:00 PM on February 20.
This Shobha Yatra (Shiv Barat) will pass through all main Bazaars of the Old city viz. City Chowk, Indira Chowk , Hari Market, Raghunath

Bazar Chowk , Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazaar, Parade Chowk and will finally culminate at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple.
He said that on Febuary 21 a free Medical Camp with the active co-operation of Indian System of Medicines (Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Indira Chowk) will also be organized at temple premises in which renowned doctors will examine the patients and give them free medicines.
He said that some religious, cultural organizations viz. Dewan Mandir Natak Samaj Mandli, Shishu Kala Kendra Kanji House, Kid Zee Paloura, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, Bapu Asaram Ji Trust Bhagwati Nagar, HudhMata Trisandhya Dacchan Committee Jammu Branch , Bawe Wala Mandir and others have already given their consent to be part of this Shobha Yatra along with their Jhankis.
Some religious, cultural programmes will also be organized by the renowned artists on the occasion of MahaShivratri Festival.
He appealed all religious minded people and trade organizations to take part in these programmes and got blessings of Lord Shiva.
He also appealed trader organizations of Old Jammu city to decorate their markets with gates, buntings, lights to welcome Shiv Barat.
