JAMMU, Feb 7: Shri Raghnauth Ji Mandir Seva Samiti (SRMSS) hailed decision of Uttar Pradesh government for given land in Ayodhya for the mosque terming it a great example of communal harmony and a perfect demonstration of unity in diversity.
“The land is at a suitable location in Ayodhya with the perspective of transportation, road connectivity, public facilities,” Th. Karnail Chand, General Secretary SRMSS told reporters here on Friday.
He expressed thanks to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister for winning everybody’s trust.
He also hailed millions of Indians, belonging to both communities, for displaying a great sense of responsibility, sensitivity and restraint in accepting the Supreme Court’s verdict which has led to the building of the historic Ram Mandir and Mosque at Ayodhya.
Addressing media persons, Rajiv Mahajan, President of the Samiti, appealed to LG Girish Chandra Murmu to end control of Dharmath Trust over temples and constitute single Shrines Board for all temples in J&K so that Dharmath Trust should not poke their nose in affairs of temples and shrines as Trust have badly hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus with poor maintenance of temples and Shrines.
“Trust also misuse of the land of temples by selling and converting the same into Hotels and other infrastructure,” he said and added “We are surprised to see that Trust has made it a business in the name of controlling temples and shrines.”

Mahajan alleged that land comprising of thousands of Kanals belonging to various temples and shrines has been sold in J&K, but there is no agency to check all this despite bringing the same into the kind notice of concerned authorities from time to time.
Adding further, he said that recently they had met LG Murmu with details of mess which has been created over the years by Dharmath Trust but so far no enquiry or investigation has been initiated by LG also despite ample proof financial bungling and open sell out of temples and Shrines land which definitely deserves CBI enquiry and if not at least from ACB.
