Rubaiya Syeed identifies her abductors, including Yasin Malik in Jammu TADA court

JAMMU, Jul 15 : Rubaiya Sayeed, the daughter of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, appeared before a special CBI court here today in a case related to her abduction in 1989 and identified her four abductors including JKLF chief Yasin Malik.
This was the first time that Rubaiya Sayeed, sister of former Chief Minister of J&K Mehbooba Mufti, has been asked to appear in the case.
She was freed after of five militants were released in exchange in 1989, when her father was Union Home Minister.
Rubaiya Sayeed, who stays in Tamil Nadu, is listed as a prosecution witness by the CBI, which took over the investigations into the case in early 1990.
Malik, the Chief of banned JKLF who was recently sentenced to life imprisonment in a terror funding case, is accused in the case.
