Rajbagh Police foiled bovine smuggling bid, rescued 15 bovines and also arrested two smugglers

SAMBA, Jun 27 (Agencies): After took the charge of the Rajbagh Police station by Inspector Bhupinder Singh is continues strict action against drug peddlers and also taking strict action of bovine smuggler. Once again Rajbagh Police have claimed to foil the bovine smuggling bid and recovered 15 bovine animals from the truck and also arrested two bovine smugglers.
According to the Police sources, as per reliable sources information, a team of Rajbah Police station headed by inspector Bopinder Singh SHO Police station Rajbagh laid vehicle Nakka checking under the jurisdiction of Rajbagh Police station in District Kathua. During the Nakka checking Police party gave stop signal to the truck bearing registration number PB02BN-9885 which was coming from Punjab side. During the checking of the truck police found 15 bovine laden in the truck and tied with ropes and were illegally transporting without permission. Police rescued all the bovines and shifted to safer place and seized the truck on spot and also arrested two smugglers.
They have been identified as Rafiq Son of Dina resident of Kalika Panchkula driver of the truck and his associate Bhag Hussain Son of Nami resident of Haria Chak Kathua.
The whole operation was conducts under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Dr Shailendra Mishraunder the direct supervision of SDPO Chadwal.
In this regard Police has taken cognizance the matter and started further investigation.
