Public’s Co-Operation imperative for strengthening Nation: Mayor

JAMMU, Apr 6: Amid Nationwide lockdown in the wake of Corona Virus outbreak and on the appeal of Narinder Modi Hon’ble Prime Minister of India for keeping proper social distancing to fight against the deadly COVID-19 Pandemic, Jain Samaj Jammu did not organize any colourful and major function today on 06.04.2020 on the Birthday of Lord Mahavir which is being held every year on this particular day. Instead of this and in order to contribute towards Nation in this crisis, Jain Samaj Jammu organized a simple function at Jan Sabha Rani Park, Jammu and handed over a cheque of Rs. 3,75,111.00 and Rs. 1,11,000.00 from Sh. Jain Samaj Jammu and Jain Mahila Mandal respectively in favour of Prime Minister CARES FUND to Chander Mohan Gupta Hon’ble Mayor JMC and Narian Singh Jamwal Prominent BJP Leader / President Rajput Sabha.
Pankaj Jain President, Rajeev Jain Vice President, Sandeep (Sunny) Jain General Secretary, Rajneesh Jain and Virender (Bhabbi) Jain Executive Members of Jain Samaj Jammu were also present and told that on this Holyday Special Pujjas and Mantras are being performed in every household of Jain Parivar so that Lord Mahavir may provide more and more strength to our Hon’ble Prime Minster Sh. Narinder Modi and every Indian to fight against this epidemic successfully. Mayor thanked to all the Members of Sh. Jain Samaj for contributing for this Noble cause and said prominent Citizens should come forward and donate more and more as per their capacity which can be utilized to strengthen Disaster Management Capacity in the Country. Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta also appealed to the public to follow the guidelines of Administration and take all precautionary measures whenever they have to go outside for rendering the required services.
