JAMMU, Jun 19 : Professor B.L. Zutshi has been declared a new President of Hindu Educational Society (HESK) after the results were announced here today.
He defeated K K Khosa -a prominent Pandit leader and the President of Kashmiri Pandit Sabha , Jammu .
Professor Zutshi secured 45 votes as against Khosa who got only 23 out of 68 votes polled by the HESK members.
Eight other members of HESK,including General Secretary and Treasurer , have earlier been elected unopposed .
