PPE kits fail in quality, govt should initiate probe

Rajiv
JAMMU, Apr 21: The Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits ordered by the J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL) have failed quality test,
It is pertinent to mention here that the 10,000 kits was prepared by only one supplier with the supply order by JKMSCL on April 6.
JKMSCL is already notorious in purchasing sub slandered medicines and the cases were registered by vigilance but the officers involved in the cases were assigned with the prize postings as a reward for looting & playing over the lives of innocents with purchasing sub standard medicines.
DAK said that PPE kits have been returned by Medical College Srinagar, as it failed in quality test but there is no any whisper from the authorities in Jammu and nobody knows how they are purchasing PPE kits from open market and is a matter of high level inquiry.
Whosoever playing with the precious lives of Doctor/Paramedics etc by supplying them with sub standard PPE Kits should put behind the bars with severe punishments.
