PM Modi arrives in Jammu

SRINAGAR, Feb 20 (Agencies): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday arrived in Jammu on his day long visit. He was received by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Advisor to LG RR Batnagar, Chief Secretary Atal Daloo and other top officials of J&K administration.
The Prime Minister drove straight to Moulana Azad Stadium where he will address public rally. During his visit, the PM Modi will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stones for a series of development projects worth over 30,500 Cr.
These projects span across various sectors such as health, education, transportation (including rail, road, and aviation), petroleum, and civic infrastructure. Highlighting the government’s commitment to development, the event will also see the distribution of appointment letters to approximately 1,500 new government recruits from Jammu and Kashmir, underlining efforts towards job creation and employment enhancement in the region.
