Mayor honours police personnel for being at forefront amid lockdown

JAMMU, Apr 23: Appreciating untiring efforts and services of frontline corona warriors in fight against deadly COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta along with Municipal Councilor Parmod Kapahi on Thursday felicitated front line warriors Mukesh Singh, IGP Jammu as well his team members with appreciation letter who are combating corona by abiding guidelines of lockdown successfully with full dedication in Jammu.
Mayor thanked IGP Jammu and his team who are always at the forefront in this valiant battle and performing their duties in true spirit to control the spread of coronavirus during ongoing lockdown period and lauded the role of whole police Deptt., Health Department, Municipal workers, media persons, bank employees and people connected with emergency services for not leaving any stone unturned in fight against deadly coronavirus. HE asked the concerned quarters to provide all protective gears to this frontline workers to ensure their safety in order to fortify the health against this invisible and unprecedented threat to the corona warriors.
Mayor further said that in the present hour of crises, much needed services is being provided by the corona warriors to us so that we all can remain safe in our homes and it is our prime duty to raise their morale and honour their services as they are contributing for our concern.
He also urged the general public to fully cooperate with them in all aspects and maintain proper social distancing besides remaining confined to their to combat spread of coronavirus as without cooperation citizens it would be hard to achieve the desired results of making India free from COVID-19
