Lieutenant Governor pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 76th death anniversary

JAMMU / SRINAGAR, Jan 30: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Tuesday paid humble tributes to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 76th death anniversary.
LG Sinha said late Mahatma’s life and ideas are abiding source of inspiration for humanity.
Taking to micro-blogging site X, Office of LG J&K posted “Humble tributes to Father of the Nation, Pujya Mahatma Gandhi, on his Punyatithi. His life & ideas are abiding source of inspiration for humanity. On Martyr’s Day, homage to all great leeaders, who laid their lives for the Nation. Their vision will forever live on in our hearts”.
Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir administration also paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his Punya Tithi. At the occasion two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to the Father of the Nation, and other martyr’s who made supreme sacrifices in the struggle of India’s freedom.
“J&K administration paid homage to Pujya Bapu on his Punya Tithi. Two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to the Father of the Nation and the martyrs who made supreme sacrifice in the struggle for India’s freedom,” Office of LG J&K posted on X.
