JKPPS observes Martyrs Day; celebrates Basant Panchami

JAMMU, Jan 30: The students and staff of Jammu Kashmir Police Public School (JKPPS), Miran Sahib Jammu observed Martyr’s Day on Thursday.
A special assembly was conducted to remember the great people of the country who laid their lives during the freedom struggle of the nation.
The event commenced by paying a heartfelt tribute to the Father of The Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. A role play on our great freedom fighters who raised their own slogans and a patriotic song made the emotions of patriotism come alive. The Principal Renuka Guleria brought out the uniqueness of Indian culture where every season is celebrated by the society as a whole.
She also motivated the students to pay tribute to the martyrs by lighting a lamp.
The School also celebrated Basant Panchami by praying to the Goddess Saraswati, poem recitation, speeches, melodious Vandana and a skit, which made the occasion vibrant.
