J&K Government teacher terminated from duty

JAMMU, Jun 3 (Agencies): Government terminated a teacher posted in Govt Higher Secondary School, Mohri Gursai in Poonch for unauthorised absence from duty.
As per the order issued by the Directorate of School Education, Jammu on Wednesday, a 2014 appointee in GHSS Mohri Gursai, Nishat Firdous had availed commute, half pay, extraordinary leave and remained absent in between.
She applied for extension of leave on July 24, 2017 which was rejected as no kind of leave was due to her and was warned to join duties but she didn’t bother to reply.
” A number of notices were served to her, the latest being pre termination notice vide order number DSEJ/NG/TR/2992-94 Dated 04/05/2022 which was pasted on the main door of her house and sent through different sources as well,” the order reads.
Chief Education Officer Poonch has reported that she has not responded to this pre- termination notice, whereas it is transpired that Nishat Firdous had remained unauthorised absent from March 1, 2017
“Keeping in view the continuous unauthorised absence of more than five years, her services are hereby terminated from the date she remained un-authorizedly absent in terms of article 113 and 128 of J&K Civil Services Regularisations 1956, ” the order reads.
