J&K BJP remembers Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru

JAMMU, Mar 23: To commemorate the martyr day of the youth icons and revolutionary leaders of the patriotic movement during the pre-independence struggle, J&K BJP paid floral tributes on the portraits of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and former MLC Vikram Randhawa paid tributes to the great martyrs in a simple symbolic programme.Ashok Kaul, while paying floral tributes on the portraits of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, said that India will always feel indebted to the youth icons and revolutionary leaders of the Indian freedom movement who were executed by the coward British Government on March 23, 1931. He said that India will never forget the supreme sacrifices of these great men, who were just in their young ages when raised the voice of revolt against the British rule and faced many atrocities but did not deviate from their pledge of serving the motherland. He added that after 200 long years of slavery, oppression and colonization came to an end by the valiant efforts of great revolutionaries like these.
Ashok Kaul, further said that, today, Covid 19 (Corona) virus has endangered the whole human race and we have to show even greater resilience to fight the ominous spread of this deadly virus. He made a mass appeal on the occasion, not to panic but be safe, avoiding crowds and cooperating with all the health and other enforcement agencies to save the mankind from this dark phase.
Kavinder Gupta, said that many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for our present and we must remember their contribution in our daily life. He said that Nation is responsibility of the citizens and these great men proved this by sacrificing their lives for the Nation. He remembered the role of the three great freedom fighters and said that the country will always be grateful for their sacrifice for the country. He advised the younger generation to follow their foot-steps.
Vikram Randhawa, said that they made supreme sacrifices of their lives with a sole objective of serving the motherland and ensuring that the generations after them could breathe the air of freedom. The youth of the Nation needs to take lesson from their lives and follow their footsteps, he stated and appealed to the parents to imbibe the character of patriotism in the young generation.
