ISM & GGF organise medical-cum-COVID-19 awareness camp at Nandani

JAMMU, Jun 9: Following social distancing norms, Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicines (ISM) (AYUSH J&K) organised COVID 19 Medical Camp and distributed immunity boosting medicines among locals of Nandani and adjoining villages.
Indian System of Medicines (ISM) – AYUSH supplied the medicines and it was distributed for free among locals of Janaka Panchayat, Jajjar Kotli, Chhurta and Dansal.
310 villagers benefitted from today’s camp. Earlier a public awareness on COVID19 & its preventive measures was conducted by ISM Dr Sukhpreet Kaur and GGF Advisor S Ravinder Singh.
The medical camp was jointly inaugurated by Mrs Reena Thappa Chairperson Panchayati Raj Block Dansal and Dr Pankaj Kumar Commanding Officer, CRPF Nandini Camp.
In his message, Dr Mohan Singh Director ISM expressed that the Directorate with the help of its dedicated staff is ensuring the distribution of herbal medicines for preventive health measures and boosting immunity of locals to fight the virus naturally. GGF J&K President Dr S P Varma expressed his gratitude towards ISM AYUSH for the collaboration and appreciated CRPF Nandani team for their supporting in organising the camp.
Dr Sukhpreet Kaur, Dr Shefali Sharma, Dr Nidhi Sharma and Nishant Kumar represented Indian Systems of Medicines were deported by ADMO Jammu Dr Suresh Sharma.
While K.K Mattoo GGF Advisor J&K, Ravinder Singh GGF Advisor J&K, Dr. Prem Sharma GGF Advisor Jammu, S. Jaswinder Singh (Kuku) GGF Adbvior Jammu city, Er S.K. Vaid GGF Advisor Jammu city, R.S Blouria, Parshotam Mehra, Camres David, Chander Bhan Thakur and Amit Varma represented Gandhi Global Family J&K.
Dr Nand Kishore Sharma, Senior Political Leader, Sh Kuldeep Sharma (Sarpanch Janakha), Capt. Payare Lal Sharma (Sarpanch Chhurta), Rinku Kumar (Panch, Nandini), Parshotam Lal (Panch, Suketar), Manjeet (Panch, Janakha), Noorja (Panch, Janakha), Rani Devi (Panch), Ram Kumar (Ex Naib Sarpanch), Mohd. Sadiq (Ex Sarpanch) were also present.
Later the medicines were also distributed among CRPF personnel at Nandani Camp and Bann Toll Plaza on Jammu-Udhampur highway.
The 43rd relief camp was dedicated to eminent scientist of India Bharat Ratna & Nobel laureate Dr C V Raman.
