JAMMU/ SRINAGAR, Feb 19 (Agencies): In the interest of administration and patient care, the Health and Medical Education Department on Wednesday ordered transfer and posting of doctors in Jammu and Kashmir.
The following 22 transfers and postings have been ordered. Dr. Yasmeen Kangoo, I/C Assistant Director (RS) Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as I/C Dy. Director (Schemes), Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir.
Dr. Mehmooda Jan, I/C BMO Soibugh, is transferred and posted as I/C Assistant Director (TB), Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir.
Dr. B.S. Tulla, I/C Controller of Stores, DHSK, is transferred and posted as Principal RFPTC Kangan.
Dr. Sameena Gul, Medical Officer, SSO Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as I/C DNO, Kashmir against an available vacancy.
Dr. Andleeb Bashir, I/C BMO Ganderbal, is transferred and posted as I/C Medical Superintendent, SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
Dr. Bushra Yousuf, I/C DIO Ganderbal, shall look after the charge of BMO Ganderbal in addition to her own duties.
Dr. Rehana Kousar, Consultant MCH SDH Kangan, is deputed to GMC Srinagar on the standard terms and conditions of deputation.
Dr. Mohd. Yousuf, I/C BMO Chogul, is transferred and posted as I/C DHO Kulgam.
Dr. Arshad Rafi, Principal RFPTC Kangan, is transferred and posted as I/C Controller of Stores, DHSK.
Dr. Mohd. Ashraf Wani, I/C BMO Kangan, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Khag.
Dr. Shamima Bano, Medical Officer, SDH Khansahib, is transferred and posted as DTO Budgam, relieving Dr. Adfar Yaseen (STO) of the additional charge.
Dr. Irshad Ahmad, Medical Officer Block Khansahib, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Soibugh.
Dr. Syed Idrees, I/C BMO Hajin, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Chogul.
Dr. Musadiq Khan, I/C Dy. Medical Superintendent, Govt. SSH, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Medical Officer, Rehbar-i-Sehat, Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir.
Dr. Arshid Rasool Baba, I/C BMO Khag, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Kangan.
Dr. Javed Ahmad Bhat, I/C DHO Pulwama, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Hajin.
Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, awaiting orders of posting, is transferred and posted as I/C Dy. Medical Superintendent, MCH Anantnag.
Dr. Gul Afroz Akhter, Medical Officer, Block Beerwah, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Chattergam.
Dr. Tahira, I/C BMO Gurez, is transferred and posted as I/C DHO Bandipora.
Dr. Bashir Ahmad Awan, Medical Officer, Block Shangus, is transferred and posted as I/C Dy. CMO Kulgam.
Dr. Nisar Ahmad Ganai, awaiting orders of posting at Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as I/C Dy. CMO Bandipora.
Dr. Faroz Iqbal Lone, Consultant Anesthesia, CHC Gurez, shall temporarily look after the charge of BMO Gurez till a suitable arrangement is made.
Similarly, in another order, the Health and Medical Education Department has ordered transfer & posting of nine doctors.
Dr. Kiran Kailu, who was awaiting orders of posting at the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, is transferred and posted as I/C State Veneriologist, Jammu.
Dr. Arun Sharma, I/C Medical Superintendent, MCH Gandhi Nagar, shall report to the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, for further duties.
Dr. Iqbal Malik, I/C BMO Nowshera, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Kalakote.
Dr. Gurdeep Singh, Medical Officer, TH Mahanpur, is transferred and posted as Medical Officer, NIDDCP, Jammu.
Dr. Sham Lal, I/C BMO Kalakote, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Nowshera.
Dr. Sat Lal Manhas, I/C BMO Kishtwar, is transferred and posted as I/C Dy. CMO Doda, relieving Dr. Om Kumar (I/C CMO Doda) of the charge of Dy. CMO Doda.
Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, I/C BMO Padder, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Kishtwar.
Dr. Krishan Singh Katoch, I/C BMO Dachhan, is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Padder.
Dr. Sajad Hussain, Dental Surgeon, PHC Keeru, shall look after the charge of I/C BMO Dachhan till a suitable arrangement is made.
The orders said that the above assignment in respect of the doctors is made on a temporary basis and is subject to the outcome of any writ petition(s), if any, pending before the court(s) of law. This shall not confer any right(s) upon the officer(s) to claim preferential treatment at the time of regularization/promotion, which shall be made strictly in accordance with the rules.
Given the emergent nature of health services, the transferees shall be deemed to have been relieved and shall join their respective places of posting forthwith and without fail.
