FFMA holds executive body meeting, discusses future plans

JAMMU, Oct 28: Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) today held an executive body meeting to discuss future plans.

Chairman of Freedom Fighters Memorial Association, Rajiv Mahajan chaired the meeting where important affairs and upcoming programmes were discussed.

It was attended by Patron-in-Chief, Ved Gandotra, Vice Chairman R.C Puri (retd) KAS, President Prof S.S Bhalwal, General Secretary Karnail Chand, Vice President Pritam Sharma, Advisor Ravinder Mittal and Secretary Parbhat Kapahi.

The objectives of the meeting were to prepare the readiness and checking of the prerequisites and requirements that need to be done before future events.

The members were informed of the necessary preparations to be made in this light and the agenda of the association’s upcoming programmes which will be held in Jammu was highlighted.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman discussed the issue of the Association’s Office which is constructed on Dogra Shaurya Sthal, adjoining to the Ved Mandir Jammu.  He said that the association has regularly taken up the matter of office with JMC and the land has been developed as a beautiful park. He said that there is a conspiracy going on to encroach the park land and office of the association at Dogra Shaurya Sthal.

He appealed to Mayor Jammu Rajinder Sharma and JMC Commissioner to pay a visit to the Dogra Shaurya Sthal and see the dilapidated situation of the office of FFMA where patriotic functions related to the freedom fighters are organized after regular intervals.

He said during Corona period all the activities of the association standstill for the last two years and now we are preparing a future plan to revive all the activities with full strength.
