FFMA celebrates 127th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

JAMMU, Jan 23: Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) held a function to celebrate the 127th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, at Maheshpura Chowk, Jammu.

The function was organised by FFMA chairman Rajiv Mahajan under the supervision of  Patron Ved Gandotra. Floral tributes were paid to the great Martyr by garlanding his statue. The speakers threw light on the life history of Netaji.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Mahajan said that Subhas Chandra Bose was born a patriot who struggled throughout his life for the freedom of the motherland.

He added that in young age Bose left home and visited every corner of the world to garner support to his freedom struggle.

He further said that Neta Ji framed a full-fledged army of the Indian youth under the name of Indian National Army to fight the British forces.

Ved Gandotra recalled the contribution of Subas Chandra Bose towards nation and described him as a great revolutionary.

He said that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s patriotism continues to have an impact in the country.

His slogan ‘Jai Hind’ is relevant to us even today. He said the life and sacrifice of this great national hero would ever act as a beacon for inspiring the youth to do selfless service for the country.

He also exhorted the youth to come forward for selfless service of the nation, so as to cherish the aspirations of our great freedom fighters.

Among others who participated were Karnail Chand (Working President), Pritam Sharma (Sr. Vice President), Sadar J.J Singh (General Secretary), Parbhat Kapahi and others.
