Ex-CPFWA urges Centre Govt to redress their demands

JAMMU, Feb 28: General Secretary, Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, Darshan Kumar Chauhan urged Lt Governor GC Murmu and Central Government to redress their long pending demands.
They demanded grant of similar benefits to the BSF, ITBP and NSG One-Rank-One pension (OROP) similar to Defense Forces, CSD Canteen facilities instead of Central Police Canteen (CPC) at State/District Level, proper Medical treatment facilities at District Level, extend all post Retirement benefits on declaration of Ex-CAPF Status similar to Defense Force Ex-servicemen/windows and dependants, restorations of stopped pension/Grant pension of BSF personnel resigned under BSF Rule 19 as per assurance/clarification of MHA and BSF authorities, Paramilitary Service Pay (PMSP) to serving CPMF personnel similar to MSP (Pensionable), appointment of High Level Committee headed by Retired Judge to study and recommend the entire problems faced by CPMF serving/Retired CPMF personnel by making appropriate Act, Rules and regulations through appropriate platforms, etc.
Gurbachan Singh, Gurdyal Singh, Krishal Singh Bist, Noor Mohd, Lovely Pandita and Ashok Kumar were also present in the press conference.
