Dr. Nawab pleads for poor stranded people

SRINAGAR, May 7: Secretary General JD(U) UT of J&K, Dr Nawab Nasir Aman plead for poor stranded people who are facing great hardship without proper provisions of transportation to reach their homes.
In a statement, Nawab expressed great anguish and grief on seeing thousands of poor labourers with their small children in arms running hundreds of kilometres by foot to reach their native places without proper arrangement of transportation from government during this lockdown period.
He also appealed Government of India and State Governments concerned to make immediate proper and free transport arrangements for such people up to their native places forthwith.
He further resolved that as per Party President G.M Shaheen JD(U) will go for indefinite hunger strike in whole of J&K if their plight is not addressed at the earliest.
