SRINAGAR, May 6 (Agencies): As many as 39 persons have tested positive in Kashmir on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 780.
An official said that 31 samples have tested positive at CD hospital and eight tested positive at SKIMS laboratory.
“Of the 39 new cases, 18 are from Anantnag, five are from Shopian, 11 from Srinagar, three from Kupwara, one each from Kulgam and Ganderbal districts,” he said.
He said all the new cases have contact history with earlier positive cases. As of now, J&K has reported 780 cases, of which 474 are Active Positive, 303 have recovered and eight have died.
