Army conducts skill development courses

BHADARWAH, Jan 28: In order to encourage women empowerment Army conducted various skill development courses , wherein 75 women candidates from Bhadarwah and nearby villages got themselves registered and underwent training in Computer and IT Skill, Pickle Making, Knitting and Tailoring. This project was aimed to help the women folk belonging to economically poor and backward areas to develop their skills and become financially self reliant.
The closing ceremony of this highly successful project was held on 27 Jan 2020 at Women Empowerment Centre, Seri Bazar, Bhadarwah. An accreditation certificate of Pickle Making, Knitting,Tailoring & Computer Course was awarded to the students after the evaluation by a team of Pradhan Mantri Koushal Vikas Yojana Kendra, Bhadarwah affiliated to National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) which will further help them in their employment.
Local population of Bhadarwah expressed their gratitude and appreciated the efforts of the Army in promoting Women Empowerment in the region.
