JAMMU, Sep 29: Prominent leader, Rajiv Mahajan has been appointed as vice president of Jammu Urban of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
For a long time, Rajiv Mahajan had been actively participating in party activities and has been promoted for his hard work and dedication to the party.
In the second list of office bearers and presidents of various units released by Aam Aadmi Party’s organization in-charge Munish Kaushik in presence of Gourav Sharma and Pradeep Mittal on Thursday, Rajiv Mahajan has been given the charge of Vice President of Jammu Urban.
On his appointment, Rajiv Mahajan said he would work with dedication towards strengthening the party in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Mahajan asked party cadre to be in ready-mode for the forthcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mahajan castigated the BJP led Central Government and J&K government stating that the hollow policies of government have only resulted in increasing the sufferings of the people manifold.
He said that BJP befooled the people with its hollow promises before the elections and the common people today realize that they have been totally betrayed by the party.
Mahajan said the young lot has suffered a lot due to anti-youth policies adopted by the Centre.
Mahajan said that Jammu has major role to play in upcoming elections by isolating the divisive forces that are bent upon destroying peaceful communal atmosphere.
Rajiv said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the only party that can end the plight of the public along with the common people.
