SRINAGAR, Oct 13 (Agencies): A man was stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon by his cousin in Srinagar’s Parimpora, reports said Sunday.
Quoting an official, news agency NVI reported that a scuffle erupted between the two cousins at the Parimpora Bus Stand.
“During the altercation, one man sustained critical injuries from the stabbing,” he said.
The injured man was quickly shifted to SMHS Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, the official said. He identified him as Amir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Parimpora.
The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, said the official.
